Hire Periods
A daily rate is calculated as 24 hours.
And it is based on the time out and time back to Nutshell….not the time that you have been shooting with the gear… unless we have discussed another deal.
Longer duration shoots attract better deals;
Hire periods between 4 and 7 days, are charged 4 days hire only. For longer periods of hire we’ll happily discuss a much better rate.
Half Day rates
Half day rates are calculated at 70% of the daily charge.
Some equipment is not available for half day rates.
Cancellation fees
If you can avoid messing us around, cancellation fees will be avoided!
Very rarely – we charge a fee. If a confirmed booking is cancelled at short notice (i.e.: Less than 24 hours notice) and another booking has been turned away, cancellation fees will be charged.
Damage or lost equipment
Nutshell Rentals insurance excess is $1,500 NZD. This means the hirer is liable for up to $1,500 NZD for any lost or damaged equipment in their care. Please see the Insurance section for more details regarding cover.
